Critical Analysis in Discussions – Public Service Leadership

Discussion Instructions

Using the same sample question as the previous discussion, post a response. Identify the relevant levels of critical analysis being asked for in a successful answer to the discussion question at the doctoral level. In your answer, list the levels of critical analysis clearly. Remember to analyze the verbs to look for synonyms of Bloom's words if specific Bloom's taxonomy is not present. Post your response to the question in the third discussion of Unit 6.

Are some theories easier to use than others when constructing research questions? For example, when you use attachment theory to predict how family relationships function, you can easily measure either infant or adult level of attachment security. When you use family systems theory to predict how family relationships function, is it as clear what variables you should measure that clearly reflect the theory?
